IT'S TIME! Get ready for an evening bursting with creativity and discovery at IB Exhibition Night tonight from 5–7pm. Families will kick off the celebration in the gym with dynamic fine arts performances that showcase the talent and hard work of our students. From there, you’ll journey through this year’s incredible IB projects—each one a window into your students’ curiosity, passion, and growth—and get an exciting sneak peek at what’s coming next year. It’s the perfect chance to cheer on your learners and see the amazing things they’ve built together!

Get ready for an electrifying evening at IB Night at Hernandez Middle School on May 18th from 5–7 pm. This isn’t just a showcase—it’s a full-on celebration of curiosity, creativity, and the power of learning brought to life. Students have taken what they explore in class and transformed it into hands‑on projects, interactive displays, and real‑world problem‑solving that shows exactly why the IB spirit is something special.

We are aware that student schedules are currently visible in Home Access Center (HAC). At this time, please note that our counselors are still actively working on student schedules, and they are not yet finalized.
As we continue balancing class sizes, making placement adjustments, and ensuring students are scheduled appropriately, you may notice changes to your student's schedule over the next several days.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important process. We will send a campus-wide communication as soon as schedules are 100% finalized and ready for families to review.

Throughout the week, our students pushed themselves, learned new skills, built confidence, and showed what it means to work together as a team. GoGuardian / Beacon After Hours and Non-Instructional Day Notifications
To support student safety, digital citizenship, and social-emotional well-being, Round Rock ISD partnered with GoGuardian this fall to implement the Beacon digital monitoring system. Beacon helps district and campus staff monitor student online activity during the school day to identify potential safety concerns and provide timely support when needed.
School-day monitoring hours in Beacon are 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on instructional days. On those non-instructional days, district staff will not actively monitor Beacon notifications.
Outside of school hours, and during weekends, holidays, and school breaks, parents and guardians may continue monitoring their student’s online activity by using the GoGuardian Parent Mobile App.
The Beacon system allows district staff and parents to view:
Student online browsing activity, and
Activity within the student’s district Google account.
When enabled, Beacon generates notifications for online activity that may indicate that a student could benefit from additional support.
Parent Monitoring Encouraged
Parents and guardians are encouraged to download the GoGuardian Parent App to continue monitoring their students’ online activity during Winter Break and throughout the year outside of school hours or on non-instructional days.

If you are interested in signing your student out after the 8th Grade Promotion ceremony, please complete the Google Form linked below.
Sign Out Form
To sign out your student, you must:
Be listed in the eSchoolPlus system as an approved contact
Present a valid photo ID at checkout
Completing the Google Form ahead of time will help speed up the sign-out process and reduce wait times on the day of the event.

Round Rock ISD students will need to take home their district-issued Chromebook over the summer. All students’ Classlink and Google accounts will remain available over the summer break.
If you are a graduating senior, please return your device and charger to your school’s ITS before graduation.
Students participating in the district-provided summer learning programs will need to bring their Chromebooks with them each day.
